To Reach the Sun

A flight was needed;
That's all I knew
To travel the distance,
To reach the Sun

A desire was needed;
That's all I knew
to resist that burning,
to Reach the Sun

A Song was needed;
That's all I knew
to soothe the pain
To reach the Sun

You are needed
And that's all I know,
For it's You
Who brightens my world.
Do I need to tell you know?
That in my world,
You are my Sun.

The Continued...

It seemed to me lost in a dream, Oh how her body glows.
I gaze way deep into her eyes, to the light within her soul.
A little smirk,a flick of the hair, sent shivers down my spine.
So how I try to find this woman, in hope that she'll be mine.
So many days, not enough dreams, the poems she provoked.
So sadly to you, I'll have to say, neither of us has ever spoke.
- Will Bitmore Scram, Oct 2006

But in my dreams we do meet, she tells me of her day.
We live a life of husband-wife and see our children play.
The rising sun just kills the fun, as I can't see her face;
Still her smell and voice of her, fails to leave a trace.
I feel she's there, no, 'everywhere', I feel her when I breathe;
I know I'll meet her tonight as well, forever we shall meet.
